1. What is your most marked characteristic? Always pitching in to help, being a “good guy,” devotion to my favorite sports teams (Buckeyes, Reds, & Bengals) and a dedication to Butler University
2. What is the quality you most like in a man? Humility, can take a punch, & hopefully worse looking than me
3. What is the quality you most like in a woman? Emotional strength, humor, & being a bit of a troublemaker
4. What do you most value in your friends? The ability to not take me too seriously
5. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Selective and intermittent laziness
6. What is your idea of perfect happiness? Fall day, cool breeze through the house, napping on the couch with my wife while a college football game is on. And oh yeah, the kids are taking a long nap.
7. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? The death of loved ones
8. Who are your favorite writers? Shirley Jackson, Seth Godin & Malcom Gladwell
9. What is your current state of mind? Guarded optimism
10. What is your motto? “We had the $240. We just had to have the puddin’.”
11. What is your greatest fear? Llamas
12. What is your greatest extravagance? Tech gadgets – can’t ever have enough!
13. On what occasion do you lie? To my kids. It’s a parental right and privilege
14. What do you dislike most about your appearance? Ears and a crooked smile.
