1. What is your most marked characteristic? Tenacious and determined, I will slog through until I succeed.
2. What is the quality you most like in a man? Masculinity without a hint of vanity
3. What is the quality you most like in a woman? Self-confidence
4. What do you most value in your friends? Loyalty, compassion and humor
5. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Lack of self-confidence
6. What is your idea of perfect happiness? The point in the day when my happy, healthy children have just fallen asleep.  Greater contentment could not be found.
7. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Despair and sadness beyond hope of change
8. Who are your favorite writers? Am I supposed to sound sophisticated here?  I love to read anything and everything.  Each book, fiction and non-fiction is an opportunity to learn and grow.  Right now I’m reading books about 19th and 20th century China.
9. What is your current state of mind? Optimistic
10. What is your motto? Everything in moderation, including moderation
11. What is your greatest fear? The inevitability of death; myself and those I love.
12. What is your greatest extravagance? Wardrobe
13. On what occasion do you lie? Wardrobe (to my husband)
14. What do you dislike most about your appearance? I wish I were 6 inches taller and had great skin
15. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? “In all honesty”.  Ironic, because I’m almost always direct and honest.
