Get better every day

I’m working with an amazing team for Shanna’s Story. When we began our journey to tell the story and raise funds for Josiah Nelson and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we didn’t really know each other well. Now just a couple weeks shy of the campaign completion, we have grown together. Our biggest area of growth is our group determination to get better every day.

We started our campaign thinking we would raise our funds through technology. Then a teammate spoke up about a bingo party and how that would make a great fundraiser. We have literally poured our hearts in to this event, which is Saturday of this week. Through lots of ups and downs, we still walk away from each day thinking about how we can do better tomorrow. The relentless work Stacia Renbarger and Amanda Ryan have thrown in to this campaign is simply inspiring. They have reinforced to me, at a time when I needed to hear it, that tomorrow is another day and more opportunities await.

So take a bit of advice from Stacia and Amanda and just make sure you’re getting better every day. With that attitude and approach, you will get there in time.
