I am so happy to be here! I have a journalism background and love that I will be able to use my writing, editing and video skills to meet the needs of our clients at Silver Square. Everyday there are new tasks and projects and I enjoy the variety of work. I am excited about the atmosphere here because there is always someone to collaborate with and no idea is too crazy to mention.
As for me personally, I am a very recent newlywed! (Shout out to my maiden name, Elzer!) Before being hired at Silver Square, I completed a year in AmeriCorps, serving at Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. Before that I received my M.A. from USC in Journalism. I lived in California for about 6 years and had the most fun and adventures any girl in her 20′s could hope for. I miss the weather everyday, but I love being back in my hometown with my family and friends. In LA, I primarily worked in television production, including as a producer for reality tv. My greatest days are spending time with friends and family, eating food, drinking cider and just being random. I am in a bowling league and scored a 200 last season! (Only once, it was downhill from there.) If my friends described me I am sure they would say I am tall, sarcastic, hysterical, hard to embarrass, and loyal.

I have always wanted to make cool things while having fun so I knew Silver Square was the place for me. It is exciting to work and collaborate with all the talented people in the office. I have a multimedia background and can’t wait to use my video, photo, and design skills here at Silver Square.
Recently, my wife and I have had our second child. So with a new kid and a new job, life moves fast! Growing up, I bought my first video camera at 11 years old and immediately knew what I wanted to do with my life. After graduating from Ball State, I went off to work for Target Marketing, Indianapolis dine magazine and MZD Advertising. Some of my most recent favorite memories were shooting location photos for a cookbook at beautiful Little Palm Island and shooting studio photos of Mario Andretti. I’d say I’m best known for staying positive, easy going, goofy and being honest.

Welcome welcome welcome!
Looking forward to working with you both!
Thanks Lauren! You need to do one of these. :)
Welcome Squares! Great intro…
That’s a great way to make introductions! Sharp.
