1. What is your most marked characteristic? confidence I can do whatever I set my mind to
2. What is the quality you most like in a man? sensitivity to women’s and girls issues
3. What is the quality you most like in a woman? a strong sense of self
4. What do you most value in your friends? loyalty and laughter
5. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? inability to wake-up and workout every day
6. What is your idea of perfect happiness? 75 degrees, sunny, and on the beach with my family
7. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? the untimely death of someone I love
8. Who are your favorite writers? most recently: Ron Hall & Denver Hall
9. What is your current state of mind? determined and hopeful
10. What is your motto? never be dependent on someone else for your happiness
11. What is your greatest fear? outliving my children
12. What is your greatest extravagance? pre-washed greens in a plastic box
13. On what occasion do you lie? To preserve the magic of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy
14. What do you dislike most about your appearance? I try not to dwell on that
15. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? “giddy-up” “crazy-eight” “yes, your life is fair” and “if you leave that there, I think that means you want me to give it to someone who doesn’t have ____”
