Raquel Richardson, founder and Principal of Silver Square, a graphic design and marketing firm, brings to the table 12 years’ experience in business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing strategy and communications for significant clients such as the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, Jackson Systems, Watermark Group, Indiana Small Business Development Center, Maddox Industrial Contractors and N. Rue & Co. to name a few.

Raquel’s experience covers strategic marketing communication, key messaging and brand strategy management for print and web mediums. Prior to starting Silver Square, Raquel served as the chief of staff to the vice president of education and training for the branch enterprise network of Charles Schwab. She was responsible for the development and implementation of the 70-member team training and communication strategy, as well as serving as the liaison to other internal enterprises of Charles Schwab.

Before that, Raquel was the communications manager at the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and was a copywriter for a major local advertising agency.

As a community leader, Raquel has served on the boards of the Junior League of Indianapolis, the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club, the Martin Luther King Service Center and Coburn Place. She was appointed the marketing chair for Judy O’Bannon’s Indiana 2016 campaign, and helped market Communities Building Community television show on public access television. She has been honored as Indy’s Best and Brightest for the past four years, was awarded a finalist for the Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leaders in 2003 and in 2009 was named a Woman to Watch from the Networking of Women in Business.

Raquel received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from Butler University, where she was an adjunct professor for four years.

Spending the day with my boys - my two sons and my husband. They are perfect.
