Raquel Richardson Joins Coburn Place Board of Directors
Indianapolis, IN – August 17, 2009 – Raquel Richardson joins the Coburn Place board of directors. Coburn Place provides women and their children who have suffered from domestic violence a chance to start anew, to accomplish a dream that an abusive partner and circumstances prevented.
“Raquel has been a valuable partner in our work for many years,” said Lianne Somerville, executive director of Coburn Place. “The board and I are pleased to welcome her in a leadership role for Coburn Place. In addition to her marketing expertise, she brings a natural gift of networking to us. She’s great at connecting people to each other.”

The Coburn Place program takes a holistic approach to serving the women and children in need of our services. They provide a safe, clean and caring environment. The building houses both the organization’s offices and the apartments for the women and children that call our building home. Coburn Place provides many supportive services designed to help families achieve their dreams and independence.
