TipJoy :: Making a donation via Twitter easy and sweet

I was recently in a nine week campaign for Shanna’s Story, which was a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I really, really wish I had known of TipJoy while that was in progress! So, here is a short bit of info if you plan to do any level of fundraising soon + using Twitter.

TipJoy’s tag is :   simple social payments for great people, causes & content. Their approach is clean and easy to understand and do. Their tools page gives you all the direction you need to begin using TipJoy via Twitter to give and tweet donations, even the code.

TipJoy does allow you get payments for work and other reasons you would want to give and receive money, but I just think this feature is unique and one of those ‘wish I’d known’ kind of things. So stock this away in your noggin for the next time you hear or know of someone raising funds. It’s sure to get them some buzz, which hopefully translates to more money for the cause.
